Feodor Stepanovich “Rojan” Rojankovsky

Feodor Stepanovich Rojankovsky (1891–1970), who signed his erotic work simply as Rojan, fled Bolshevik Russia to become one of the 1930s Paris underground’s most prolific fetish illustrators. With a bold, almost cartoonish line and saturated gouache hues, he turned flagellation, petticoat discipline, and nursery domination into playful, high-society satire.

A rosy bottom is the only honest blush left in modern Paris

From Gamiani to Flagellation Folios

After illustrating the 1929 clandestine edition of de Musset’s Gamiani, Rojan produced limited-series portfolios: Idylle Printanière, Petite Dactylo, Flagellette, all packed with OTK spankings, birching parties, and corseted governesses wielding martinets. His women are voluptuous, his men dapper, and every stroke lands with a wink.

Legacy in Erotic Illustration

Rojan’s cheerful cruelty influenced later giants like Carlo and Géniès. His ability to make spanking feel like champagne rather than shame remains the gold standard of 1930s French fetish chic.

Watersports – special gallery

Urolagnia, also known as urophilia, is a paraphilia in which sexual excitement is associated with urine or urination. Etymologically, the term comes from the Greek ouron, meaning ‘urine’, and lagneia, meaning ‘lust’. A golden shower is slang for the practice of urinating on another person for sexual pleasure, while the term watersports is more inclusive of other sexual acts involving urine.Wikipedia
